The name Piruchi comes from a refreshing drink Cecile and Eduardo enjoyed as kids during the warm summers of Ica, Peru. This drink became a symbol of friendship and a gem that brought back memories of carefree happiness and fun times. Both Cecile and Eduardo pursued different dreams: Cecile moved to California to earn a business degree, while Eduardo stayed in Peru to become a professional chef.
After the pandemic, they reunited, and by sharing a glass of Piruchi, the dream of opening a food trailer in LA came to life. The drink is now embodied in the vibrant colors of the trailer, the memories captured in every bite of our sandwiches made with authentic Peruvian flavors, and the warmth of friendship in every interaction with our team.
