About Sanook Soi 38

Sanook in Thai means fun. We use it to express the pleasure we have had eating street food at one of our favorite spots on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. Soi 38, or street 38, is a place of myriad culinary pleasures, where any Thai food your heart desires is at your command.

Sai-Grog iSaan SausageNorth-eastern spicy sausage loaded with pork and herbs. Served with ginger, baby chili, fresh coriander, and shallot. Scrumptious!
Entrees

Kao Man GaiThai-Hainan-style steam chicken, ginger and garlic steam rice. Served with Sanook's ginger soya bean sauce. Yummy!\n
LarbThailand’s tastiest mince : chicken/pork/beef prepared with garlic, lemon grass, lime juice, crushed roasted chili, shallot, coriander, green onion, ground roasted rice and mint. Served in purple cabbage, and with Jasmine rice. We pronounce it LAAP!\r\n
Grilled Pork SaladSlice pork serloin/shoulder mixed with lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar, crushed toasted crispy rice, sliced shallot, green onion, chopped corriander, crushed roasted chili, lemon grass on a bed of lettuce. Light and refreshing!\r\n

Kao SoiA Chiang Mai favorite: northern noodle chicken/pork/beef/tofu/veggie curry with coconut milk, curry paste, shallots, chicken fillet, grated palm sugar, soy sauce, roasted chili paste, lime, pickled mustard. Delicious!
Kha Muu Kra-PraowBraised pork sautéed with garlic, baby chili, yellow onion, red pepper, holy basil, fish sauce, five spices. Served with Jasmine rice. A Bangkok classic!
Kao Kha MuuBraised pork hog, five spices, Chinese broccoli, prickle. Everyday street food on street of Thailand. Fills you up! \n
Kor Muu YangMarinated pork shoulder/sirloin in coriander root, garlic, white pepper, soy sauce, seasoning sauce, oyster sauce, palm sugar, fish sauce. Put it on a grill. Slice up and served with rice.
