Our focus is making the best smoked brisket and pulled pork in the Los Angeles area. All our meat is smoked over white post oak for 12-16 hours. We have a large range of sides we also prepare that are all in house made. We only use Prime Angus Beef for our brisket and don't add any artificial ingredients to our sides. We even make our own ketchup we use in our sauce.

The concept for Belly BombZ was founded in early 2012 by chef/owner Albert Shim as a food stand at a local Long Beach farmer's market. It only operated on Sundays, where random market goers eventually became weekend regulars. Words of encouragement from those regulars is what inspired Belly BombZ to expand to the food truck that it is today.

Albert has been in the culinary field for nearly a decade working in the culinary undergrounds of various catering companies, as well as fine dining restaurants around Orange County and Los Angeles. Albert's Korean roots combined with his classical French training is what drives the backbone concept of the menu.

Burnt To A Crisp was born from the minds of two Texan best friends, really brothers, since the sixth grade! Phil Leggett and Chris Menard. Both of us came to LA in search of dreams. Phil was acting in Texas and came to LA in hopes of taking his dream of acting to the next level. Chris went from the office world of commercial real estate to the exciting world of playing professional poker.

Neither of us claim to be amazing chefs, just a couple of dudes from Texas that know and love good BBQ! One day while sitting on the couch longing for the taste of our home state BBQ, and tired of our side jobs, we thought about selling BBQ sandwiches from a push cart. Instead of letting the idea pass us by, we decided to stay persistent and after a year of planning the idea was brought to fruition and grew into a gourmet food truck!

We were able to partner up with a family friend back home in Texas and receive fresh shipments of high quality meats from Texas several times a week. Our Goal is simple, to bring the Real taste of Texas to the streets of Los Angeles. Along with great Texas BBQ we strive to give our customers the best customer service in the city! Fiesta gourmet food truck was at Bottle Logic brewing a while back. I wasn't really sure how it would be due to the fact that food trucks are so trendy now. To me, trendy equals overpriced and undersized portions. To my surprise, Fiesta Gourmet's portions are big, pricey, but big. My friends and I ended up ordering nachos (get an extra side of sweet and spicy jalapeños! These were so good I decided to make my own), carne asada fries, tacos and a bowl of some kind. All this food around $50. Big portions, big flavor and big price. The meats weren't dry, flavor profiles were great, ingredients were fresh and the staff was super helpful. This is one truck I'll be coming back to and if you have a chance give em a go. Cheers!

Our pizza starts with well crafted hand made dough that slow rises for 32 hours, so it can create a more fully developed flavor. All of our pizzas are topped with only the freshest house made ingredients. We then cook our pizzas at blazing temperatures of over 800 degrees, with burning oak and olive wood to enhance the quality and taste of our product. Watch as our chimney stack goes up and puffs of aromatic wood smoke drift through the air. The first time we experienced a traditional wood fired pizza, we were hooked! Owner Mong Skillman grew up eating traditional bánh mì sandwiches and bowls of bún thịt nướng, both as a daughter and regular customer at her mother’s Vietnamese restaurant in Honolulu’s Chinatown. Believing that her mother’s cuisine was far too flavorful to be kept an island secret, she left her day job in LA in 2007, and returned to Hawaii to study in her mother’s kitchen, determined to bring her family’s light, bright and savory dishes to the masses. With no written recipes, Mong shadowed her mother, learning to taste by palate and taking vigorous notes that she brought back to LA to tweak, refine and make her own. A couple years later, she had come up with a menu that incorporated her mother’s culinary essence, while using less oil, little fat and absolutely no MSG. Then she gave herself the ultimate challenge: making tasty options that were 100% vegan…even the “fish” sauce. In the fall of 2009, Mandoline Grill launched at the Verdugo Bar in Glassell Park. For these first few months, Mong supplied her own fryers, toaster oven, and coolers, basically throwing a backyard cookout at the beloved Eastside bar. As support grew, Mong started riding shotgun and working shifts on the Dosa Truck, just to get a hang of the food truck life before hitting the streets in her own truck this past February 2010. Now Mong has the privilege of introducing her mother’s inspirational flavors to LA (and beyond!) as she drives the Mandoline Grill truck from Orange County to Echo Park to Santa Monica, offering fresh, crisp vegan and carnivore-friendly bánh mì sandwiches, and of course, her mother’s famous bún thịt nướng noodle bowls.

In the native Mapuche language, Mapu means earth, and Che means people, the people of the earth. The Mapuche occupied the modern day Patagonia in Argentina, the Andes and the Southern Cone of Chile. It started there for us in the town of San Martin de los Ándes.

Our food reflects the mixing of indigenous Patagonian flavors with the better known Argentinian street food like empanadas, choripanes and milanesas and is meant to transport the recipient in space and time. This was married to the discovery that came when our chefs ventured into the kitchens of Tierra del Fuego, the Glacier Perito Moreno, Puerto Madryn, Spain, Italy, Mexico and finally to the culinary Mecca of Los Angeles and Boa Steakhouse. Along the way we picked up flavors, techniques, and street vibes and crafted a whole new way of looking at food. Our goal is to bring together the best of everything we have found in our food journey and bring it to the city that opened its arms to us.

Craig Buscemi will realize this lifelong goal that started when he was a young Californian dreaming of his future. Instead of a hard structure fixed location however, Pizzami Buscemi is a concept born out of the mitigation of risk. Hard costs associated with leasing an appropriate space and hiring enough employees to effectively operate such a space are very cost prohibitive. For many years I would have Maine Lobsters and New England clam chowder shipped to me by my family so that I could share that unique taste with all my wonderful friends and family here in Southern California. In 2008 after both of our children had graduated college, my lovely Southern California born wife and I decided to return to the coast of Massachusetts and enjoy the so called golden years, but they were still very cold winters, missing friends and family we decided to return and bring along with us that Great seafood we had been missing. Here enters ROLLN LOBSTER!!!!! Rolln Lobster is a Gourmet Food Truck which offers a wonderful sampling of East Coast goodies. We feature only fresh Maine Lobster (never frozen) in our Lobster Rolls, Lobster Sliders, and Lobster Louie along with great clam chowder and lobster bisque. We love to meet other transplants from the east coast and if you happen to be one of the few people who have not tried the Best the East Coast has to offer then come on by for a free sample on us. Chef Tayo is a California native who grew up in Fresno. His first kitchen job was for an established restaurant where he would buy all the produce from the farmers market and drive it up to the restaurant, twice a week. Then moving to Chicago, Tayo spent the last decade learning and working his way up the restaurant food chain. Today, he is back in his home state driving SO Truck, shopping at the farmers markets, and preparing the food he loves. SO Truck is Tayo’s interpretation of a gourmet food truck with a little flare.

While pursuing his life journey of opening his restaurant, he met and fell in love with Ginevra, and they have been inseparable since. Ginevra, 21 years old, born of a Peruvian mother and a Italian father, worked as a manager in a clothing store, but still wanted more out of life. What’s the thing that unites these two people? In El Salvador, she mastered the traditional cooking of Central America. Wendy arrived in Los Angeles by way of numerous restaurants in Las Vegas convincing her that L.A. would be most conducive to her country’s traditional food with a modern twist. Since her move to L.A.
